The Unity Process (UP) is a nine-session engagement experience that brings together a diverse group of individuals to exchange and grow through formation, discussion and experience. UP begins with FORMATION by looking inward to examine our own biases, then outward to others to build relationships via DISCUSSION. With the collective knowledge that has been mined, EXPERIENCE enters in the form of practicing how to lead others in having healthy conversations about race, culture, and society. The framework for UP is based upon truth and RECONCILIATION that leads to unity and love.

UP groups, a small number of individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences, meet regularly. Exercises, lecture, media and modeling are methods used to move the individuals through the three step process. At the conclusion of the process, individuals have reported an increased awareness of their own internal prejudices and biases, an increase in their comfort level in addressing matters of race, and new cross cultural experiences.
